Spring Fashion 2025
I never miss my Spring Style suggestions, fashion sounds so conformed. The reason why I never miss a beat when it comes to this annual blog is that I am not built for cold weather. Therefore any opportunity that will get me in spring mode faster, even if it’s all a false sense of it, I will gladly take.
I will admit the initial peek in to the Spring preview was slightly disappointing. Pastels: no surprise there. Yawn. Next! Nautical stripes? Been there, done that. All sarcasm aside; I own a ton of stripes. Stripes and Silhouettes I still love them, but like all other good things, it’s all in moderation. I have scaled back.

The oversized men’s wear for women is here to stay another season, obviously in lighter colors. The bigger the better, shoulder pads and all. Everything ain’t for everyone. I tone the oversized done a bit, I don’t like the feel of drowning in my suits. Double breasted blazers are back too. They will accentuate your waist better when worn oversized than the standard one or two button front closure.

Once I dug a little deeper, it became more interesting. Is it all practical and wearable? Not necessarily, but nevertheless more fun. There’s the fluffy, poofy trend. Complete with balloon skirts. Exaggerated peplums, this trend will camouflage any saddlebags. The skirt-pants. I am not knocking this one. Although it’s a huge been there done that but may just try that look again. The last one I may leave alone besides the few silver pieces I already own, but this look is called “space invaders”. Literally planets and stars which are planets too but it just sounds better. Plus metallics, metal, silver, uncomfortable materials for the sake of fashion. I will let you be the judge.

You know me; the experts stating that bright colors are so last year or that skinny jeans are so not a thing anymore doesn’t mean ish to me. I’ve said it 100 times. It’s about your own individual style. Whatever floats your boat, you do you. I am here to give you some inspiration and to say it’s not frowned upon to walk around in a cloud suit this year. Next year maybe not so much!
