New Years Resolutions

It’s that time again! And as cliche as it may seem, I believe the first day of the year is a great time for a fresh new start…or maybe the second day of the year….
The top ten for most of the Western Hemisphere starts with “Get in Shape”. I will try to exercise 3 times a week. Not just for my health but also for my sanity. I admire people who can cut sugar and carbs out of their lives. Since I don’t possess that will power, I won’t make that commitment. Therefore, I will have to work out. Even if it’s just to tone, but at our age it is important to keep our bones healthy.

Followed by “Eat healthier”. Check! I will try to cut refined sugars out since I have been loading up on cookies and chocolate over the past few months…Am I seriously putting all of this in writing?!
Thirdly on the list of most is “Stop Procrastinating” Valid point! I will stick to blogging. Once you pick something up, you have to stick with it. No matter how crazy your life may be!

Four and Five on the list are not on mine: 4.Meet new people. 5.Improve and Improve Mental Skills. The latter may be referring to learning a new trade, going back to school or starting a new hobby….I won’t bore you with the other 45 (!) top New Years Resolution in the nation. They all mostly boil down to the same thing and will all most likely be on your list for 2021!
My list for 2019 included: Reach out to people when you are thinking about them. I would recommend for everyone to put this on your list; the result is so rewarding. Small gestures go a long way!
Here’s to a happy, healthy, fabulous new year! #yearoffifty
