Tips for Brighter Eyes

My eyes remain a lost cause. The bags are inherited , my laugh wrinkles permanent but yet I continue to battle them. Not so much for my viewing pleasure as yours.
I have a few products I stick to but I’m adding a few tricks to allegedly “brighten” my eyes. Yes to an extent I do believe everything I read!
Reduce puffiness: I have a jade roller which I really should use more often. It can reduce the puffiness underneath your eyes. It works even better when it’s cold. I also use cold grapes to roll underneath my eyes. Anything cold will work! Roll the jade roller over your brow bones and forehead also…it’s so relaxing. Grapes don’t really do the trick there…

Protect your eyes: Does your eye cream have an SPF? I have to check mine. Granted most sunscreens are made for the entire face even your eyes. Although this can be tricky since the area around your eyes is very delicate. There are some eye creams out there with SPF which maybe a safer bet. If all else fails; wear sunglasses. This will prevent you from squinting which is the biggest wrinkle culprit besides smiling. Neither will stop occurring in my life.
Stay hydrated: dehydration can make the wrinkles around your eyes more noticeable. It is suggested to drink a glass of water before going to bed…I am not sure if that will be effective for me since I will be up during the night for obvious reasons which will lead to more puffiness…The solution for me is to just make sure I drink enough water during the day and especially first thing in the morning.

Be gentle: don’t scrub make up off your eyes. Instead press a cotton ball soaked in eye makeup remover and gently dab.
My above mentioned go to’s: religiously L’Oréal Revitalift and Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer. We all know there’s no such thing as an age rewind, but a girl can dream right!?
