Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Don’t try to research this on a smart phone without readers on. It will autocorrect to hydraulic acid and that is something you do not want to put on your skin!

Hyaluronic Acid Serum on the other hand, feels uh-mazing on your skin. Especially during these hot summer days when I tend to dry my skin out in the sun to a raisin like texture. This stuff truly hydrates your skin like no other product out there. But does it do anything else?

Hyaluronic acid is available in supplements, serums and other potions you can apply directly to your skin. The supplements claim to help your skin look and fill more supple. I have not tried this yet. Hyaluronic acid already exists in your body where it binds to water to retain moisture. Mmmm….and of course; as we age (!) this stuff decreases. Sun exposure will do its fair share too, but since I love the sun I prefer to blame the aging process.

When you put this stuff directly on your face it can reduce redness and wrinkles. I love the way this stuff feels on my skin and it honestly appears more “youthful”. Its perfect for the leathery chest area as well. However; it will not lift for you! That’s why the serum is perfect because it seems to be the ultimate hydrator for your skin. We already know serum can easily be layered with other stuff…you guessed it; anything with a lifting component!

Remember the one about the lips? https://pleasantlydisturbed.blog/2018/12/20/lips-2/ Your lips will love this stuff too! There are some ridiculously overpriced lip balms out there containing hyaluronic acid. The cheapest one I could find is Naturally Serious Lip Service 3-in-1 lip serum. Even $16.00 seems a lot for a lip balm but think about it….we spend way more for other body parts…
