The Ordinary Buffet review

In my hectic life I felt that the Ordinary skin care products would add more chaos to it. Every vlogger and even their own site tutorials will layer multiple cleansers, serums and lotions. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

That’s why The Buffet sounded ideal to me. Like an all in one restaurant spread. It’s also one of their products that specifically targets the aging skin. Win, win in the land of The Ordinary!

This stuff is a “multi-technology peptide serum”. I won’t bore you with the 5 different peptide complexes. It “boosts collagen” that’s all we care about!

You may use a few drops of this AM and PM. If you do have time for multiple products do not pare this in the same routine as their copper concoction or the Direct Acid. Do use this in combination with the hyaluronic acid. This product is on the “higher” end price wise but even at $15.00 it is way cheaper than any product that I have successfully reviewed.

Before and after pictures never quite capture results so I will spare you that. What I will vouch for is that The buffet will leave your skin looking like you had a fresh facial. Plumped up and even a little bright and rosy. I can’t report on the long term effects of this yet but I like the instant results already. I will owe you a follow up in a few months.

Under the category “some things ain’t for everybody”. Not every one is as enthused about The Buffet. Some say it allows following products to “roll”, creating flakes on their skin. That’s why I’m still trying to figure out what the best pairing product is to the Buffett. You may also break out from any of these products since our skin is not used to single ingredient serums. It may take some getting used to!

No filter The buffet and foundation serum.

I’m excited about this stuff and I have tried more of it that I will share. My goal is to simplify The Ordinary for you, so you won’t have to! Cause I know none of us have time for that!

I am not an affiliate but I do like to share good news. During the month of November all of the products on the Deciem website are 23% off. A few days left!!
